Goldilocks and the Three Bears

The Story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks.  She  went for a walk in the forest.  Pretty soon, she came upon a house.  She knocked and, when no one answered, she walked right in.

At the table in the kitchen, there were three bowls of porridge.  Goldilocks was hungry.  She tasted the porridge from the first bowl.
"This porridge is too hot!" she exclaimed.
So, she tasted the porridge from the second bowl.
"This porridge is too cold," she said
So, she tasted the last bowl of porridge.
"Ahhh, this porridge is just right," she said happily and she ate it all up.
After she'd eaten the three bears' breakfasts she decided she was feeling a little tired.  So, she walked into the living room where she saw three chairs.  Goldilocks sat in the first chair to rest her feet.
"This chair is too big!" she exclaimed.
So she sat in the second chair.
"This chair is too big, too!"  she whined.
So she tried the last and smallest chair.
"Ahhh, this chair is just right," she sighed.  But just as she settled down into the chair to rest, it broke into pieces!
Goldilocks was very tired by this time, so she went upstairs to the bedroom.  She lay down in the first bed, but it was too hard.  Then she lay in the second bed, but it was too soft.  Then she lay down in the third bed and it was just right.  Goldilocks fell asleep.

As she was sleeping, the three bears came home.
"Someone's been eating my porridge," growled the Papa bear.
"Someone's been eating my porridge," said the Mama bear.
"Someone's been eating my porridge and they ate it all up!" cried the Baby bear.
"Someone's been sitting in my chair," growled the Papa bear.
"Someone's been sitting in my chair," said the Mama bear.
"Someone's been sitting in my chair and they've broken it all to pieces," cried the Baby bear.

They decided to look around some more and when they got upstairs to the bedroom, Papa bear growled, "Someone's been sleeping in my bed,"
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too" said the Mama bear
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed and she's still there!" exclaimed Baby bear.

Just then, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears.  She screamed, "Help!"  And she jumped up and ran out of the room.  Goldilocks ran down the stairs, opened the door, and ran away into the forest.  And she never returned to the home of the three bears.
THE END

Amazing Place

Hello again! Yes, it's me your favorite 16 year old blogger. Haha just kidding, I kind of suck at blogging. Anywaaays, I'm going to tell you about an amazing place that I really really really want to visit. Like really.
Have you ever heard of Bora Bora Island? Well if you haven't, it's an island located in the French Polynesia (I'm going to be honest, I'm really bad at geography so I'm guessing it's somewhere near France?). I actually don't remember how I knew about the place. I think I saw a picture of it on the internet and fell in love with it immediately. If you haven't seen it here's a picture:

What catches my attention is how beautiful the place is. The water is crystal clear, the sky is blue, and everything just fits so it creates a really beautiful mix of colors.
As you can see the island is surrounded by sea water and another body of water with a different shade of the color blue which we call a lagoon. On the island are the remnants of extinct volcanoes and they are Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia and because they aren't active volcanoes anymore, it's safe to travel on the island and we wont have to worry about an explosion occurring.
Bora bora has become a famous destination for tourists around the world. I think Kim Kardashian has been here before. Of course because of the large number of tourists, hotels are built. What's interesting is that most hotels in Bora Bora Island are made above the lagoon. ISN'T THAT COOL?!?! But don't worry about a sudden wave that will wipe the entire place out. That's most likely not to happen because the state of the water there is very calm.
Imagine waking up one morning in the hotel room, the sun is shiny and bright, and when you glance outside you find yourself looking at the beautiful view of the island and the sea water that surrounds it. If you still can't imagine it, then here's a couple of pictures:

Do you see what I'm talking about now? Bora Bora Island is a perfect place to escape from your reality. I mean the place itself already looks surreal. It feels like a place that belongs in a dream. It's also the perfect place for spending your honeymoon (Note that, dear future husband). Another interesting is many of the over-water bungalows have glass floors which enable you to see through it and straight to the water below.
Besides natural beauties, you can also find a lot of attractions from the island itself and from the people. Some activities that attract the tourists to visit the island are water sports, diving, underwater sightseeing and many more. You can also learn about the tradition of the native people there which will be interesting I guess.
Buuuuuuut of course, going to a place like this will cost a lot of money. I probably have to starve my entire life if I want to save money to go here. So if you need someone to accompany you to this place or if you're just down right generous and want to pay for my trip then call me anytime!!
Thank you for reading!

MATSWAPATI

On Saturday, the 27th of September SMAN 3 Bandung held an event which was a cultural festival in Lapangan Bali. The school held the event to help preserve the Sundanese culture and to introduce people to it.
I was a committee in the event and was in the decoration group. What the decoration group did was mostly decorate the place. The decoration group’s work started weeks before the festival started. We were divided into a few groups and I was in group 3. Group 3 was in charge of the gates.

But on the day of the festival I was put into the logistics group because the decoration group had nothing to do anymore since the decoration was all done. I came to Lapangan Bali at 5:30 AM. The committee had this uniform which was a brown shirt. And my brown shirt was too big on me so it was like wearing a jacket. Anyway we started to carry things around for the preparation of the event. I guess what I did all day was move and carry stuff around every time a performance was finished and another performance was about to begin. While my friends and I waited for a performance to end, we sat near the stage and talked. When we got hungry, we went to the bazaar to get some food or drink.
I remember when there were these guys on the stage singing some dangdut song, Pa Doni started dancing around and some girls joined in, including me. We started to follow Pa Doni's moves and it was really fun.
There were many cultural performances and they were all very interesting. Lapangan Bali got really crowded at 4 PM People started to gather around the stage when Barsena was about to perform. Barsena performed 3 songs beautifully and got a good reaction from the crowd. After Barsena performed, the next performance was the one that many people had come to see. Why? BECAUSE GLENN FREDLY WAS GOING TO PERFORM YAYY!
Glenn's performance was really awesome. The crowd kept cheering and cheering. I had a lot of fun too. I jumped and sang along to Glenn Fredly's songs.
After Glenn finished performing, there was a closing act which was a fire attraction.
Because I was a committee, I stayed in Lapangan Bali longer than other people and went home at 9. I live in Dago and it usually takes 15-30 minutes to get home. But that night, it took 1 and a half hours because there was an event in Dago called 'Dago Culinary Night'.
When I got home I was exhausted and slept immediately. I also slept in on the next day.

New friend

Hello there! This is my second post on this blog and now I will tell you about my new friend.
My new friend's name is Ismail Faruqi but everyone calls him Mail. But it's pronounced like Muh-eel not mail like the letter. Mail was born on the 4th of February 2000 which makes me feel really old after knowing that. Thank you. Oh and because he's 2 years younger than me he calls me 'Teteh' which is how we call an older girl here. Thus, I call him 'Ade' which is how we call someone younger than us in Indonesian.
Mail attended junior high school in SMPN 7 Bandung. Right now he is a student in SMAN 3 just like me. He lives in Jl. Gumuruh. Mail is really tall, probably because he's a guy, and he wears glasses. He's also really smart. No, seriously. Like, really really smart. You get the point.
Okay so anyways, back to Mail. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister and he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. However I, for some reason, has never had the will to be a doctor. Why? Because I hate seeing blood and flesh. It scares me. So if I were a doctor, I'd probably faint when I see stuff like that. I don't know why Mail wants to be a doctor but you go Mail! Go do your stuff and make your dreams come true! (Alright this is really cheesy)
Anywaaays, that's all I'm going to tell you about Mail. If you want to know him better just talk to him. I guarantee you wont regret it. Thank you for reading, bye!

Introduction

Hello blog readers! I am the owner of this blog and the name is Hanifa Nurul Rahma, but please call me  Iffa. This is actually my second blog and I made it because my english teacher told me to. I am the second child out of 3 children in my family. I was born in Bandung on the 10th of November, 1998. I stayed in Japan for 3 years when I was really young so right now I can't really remember a lot of things that happened there but only bits and pieces. I went back to Indonesia and attended kindergarten in Darul Hikam. Then after attending kindergarten I started to attend elementary school in Mutiara Bunda. In the beginning of 5th grade I moved to the US and stayed in Urbana, Illinois for 2 years more or less. I attended Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School and Urbana Middle School there. After the 2 years had passed I went back to my country, Indonesia. Because I didn't take the national exam I couldn't go to any public school and had to attend a private school and my parents decided I should go to Mutiara Bunda again. After graduating from Mutiara Bunda and taking my very first national exam in 9th grade (woo!) I got accepted into SMAN 3 Bandung. So right now I am currently a student in SMAN 3.
I think of myself as an emotional person because I can get carried away with something that doesn't seem big to other people and also because I have moodswings that come in unexpected times. I will admit that I am a very gullible person and I get scared easily.Anyway, now I'm gonna tell you about things I enjoy. First, I enjoy music and I can play a few instruments and I sing sometimes. I also like this TV show called Sherlock which is the modern adaptation of the detective Sherlock Holmes (for those of you who haven't seen it I really recommend this show but be warned for you will be cursed with an obsession over this show). I have seen Sherlock for like 10 times for each episode and I never will get tired of it (No I'm not even joking). Last, I also enjoy reading novels. When I read novels I can get into the story so deep and it feels like I am actually in the book observing everything that's happening in the story and that's what I like about reading novels, it makes you feel like you're part of the story.
Well I guess that's all I'm gonna tell you right now, thank you for reading!
